Delineation implies the process by which an entity is broken down to its elemental form while branching infinitely outwards, acknowledging the amalgamation from which each fraction, although a complete form itself, originated. The Fashion Design Class of 2011 will be facilitating an event titled Delineation featuring not only our Senior Collections, but also the work of other disciplines. This is a celebration of our unity as designers and artists..here is the process of our collaboration.

Clothing Swap Fundraiser
A little while ago, Artist Collective and MODISTA teamed up for a "clothing swap" AKA: THE BEST FUNDRAISER EVER! Brilliant idea. Kudos to the person who thought of it. It involves getting new clothing, getting rid of old clothing, raising money, and having fun. Hopefully we will be able to have another clothing swap in the future.

Rockwell...Backstage...
For a few days last weekend, Rockwell was transformed from an educational prison to a buzzing photo studio filled with designers, merchandisers, models, photographers, hair and makeup artists, and creepers (enter: me). It was really exciting to wander around the building and see so many people working together to create these beautiful images.
So as not to blow the whole load, here are some pictures of the finishing touches-hair and makeup. And heres a quote to explain why you should be excited:
"It's more interesting to have just a picture of a small detail-then you can dream the rest around it." -Dries Van Noten

So while the rest of us lounged at home in our Forever Lazys sippin' on PBR, the senior design students were hard at work in the studio. I popped in to creep about and this is what I saw...
